Discover Your Core & Pelvic Floor.
This class focuses on targeted, personalised training for your abdominal and pelvic floor muscles. You’ll learn how these muscles work, how posture and movement affect them, and how to apply this knowledge to everyday life and all other exercises. The class is flexible, allowing you to work at your own pace and ask questions.
Who Can Benefit
What You’ll Learn
Abdominals
Core
Pelvic Floor
These classes offer a varied mix of strength training with weights and body bars, resistance bands, calisthenics, progressive stretching, mindfulness, and always, pelvic floor work. There are no gimmicks—just effective, research-backed exercise taught with sound technique.
Who Can Benefit
While suitable for most, the class is especially beneficial for “LOACAS” (ladies of a certain age). As women move through peri- and post-menopause, exercise priorities shift—strength and resistance training become essential, aerobic intensity matters more than duration, and over-training should be avoided. Properly adapted training keeps you strong, mobile, and feeling youthful.
Class Structure
Each session blends familiar routines with new challenges. Repetition builds skill and effectiveness, while variety prevents boredom and poor technique.
Unique Tools
The class regularly uses the Eggball, an oval-shaped stability ball I’ve taught with since 2002. It’s safer and more versatile than standard round balls, perfect for both class and home practice.
STEP training is versatile, effective, safe, and fun! Just 20 minutes of stepping gives a full aerobic workout, sculpts your body, strengthens your core, and finishes with a deep stretch.
I introduced STEP to the UK in the 1990s and have taught hundreds of classes and mentored instructors. Today, I teach STEP in its pure form, focusing on the 3Ps:
Good technique protects your joints, supports bone health, and enhances fitness, cardio, strength, coordination, and wellbeing.
STEP is adaptable for beginners and experienced steppers alike, as well as being safe, joint-friendly, and hugely enjoyable.
Come and rediscover the fun of great music and effective training.
